Direction Action Section (DAS)

Operators with of a USCG Maritime Security Response Team (MSRT) Direct Action Section (DAS) fast-rope down from a HH-60J Jayhawk helicopter.

The Direct Action Section are the assault element of the MSRTs. DAS operators are highly trained in close quarters combat, small boat operations, helicopter insertion methods and hostage rescue techniques.
