The Maritime Security Response Teams are a deployable specialized force (DFS) of USCG's Deployable Operations Group. MSRT Direct Action Sections specialize in maritime counter terrorism and high risk law enforcement operations. DAS elements are experts at ship boarding techniques, both from boats and helicopters, and close quarters combat.
