Advanced Designated Marksmen team with the 90th Security Forces Group Tactical Response Force (TRF) take aim at opposition forces during a recapture exercise at a missile launch facility.

The 90th SFG protects Francis Emroy Warren Air Force Base, Wyoming.

F.E. Warren AFB is home to the 90th Missile Wing, which operates 150 Minuteman III Nuclear-tipped ICBMs.

Tactical Response Force personnel are tactical units trained to deny access to and recapture USAF nuclear weapons and associated facilities.

Each TRF includes a 4-man Advanced Designated Marksmen team which is organized into 2 sniper/spotter pairs.

Armed with M24 7.62mmx51mm bolt-action sniper rifles, TRF marksmen will typically establish overwatch and provide cover for TRF assault teams.

They also have a counter-sniper capability.
