Photo of a Special Response Team (SRT) with the U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), a branch of the Department of Homeland Security.

ICE SRTs are SWAT teams, trained to deal with extreme / dangerous situations such as high risk searches, arrests of drugs and arms smugglers and security operations.



ICE currently has 22 deployable SRTs, each of around 16-18 agents.

SRT selection consists of a 3-week training course at Fort Benning, Georgia.
