Spokane County Sheriff Department SWAT Team

Members of Spokane County Sheriff Deparment's Special Weapons & Tactics (SWAT) team stack up before a dynamic entry during a training mission.

Spokane County SWAT use a range of weapons, including M4 5.56mmx45mm carbines, Glock 21 .45ACP pistols, Arwen tear gas canister launchers and .308 sniper rifles.

Like other tactical Police units, Spokane County SWAT trains to intervene in crisis scenarious outside the capabilities of regular officers such as high risk warrant servings and hostage rescue.
