An officer with the FBI San Diego Division Special Weapons & Tactics (SWAT) Team takes aim with an unloaded M933 M4 Commando during a training exercise.

The M4 Commando is used by many law enforcement organizations around the United States due to its compact size.

It resembles the CQBR/MK-18 carbines used by U.S. military units such as the Navy SEALs and Coast Guard MSRTs; onvious differences being the lack of the CQBR's Crane stock and a 11.

5 inch barrel compared to the CQBR's 10.

5 inch barrel.

The M4 Commando is the modern, flat-top version of the Commando.

An earlier model, the M733 carbine, Featured a fixed carry handle and was used by some Delta Force operators in Somalia, 1993.

FBI SWAT teams are specialy-trained teams of FBI Special Agents tasked with carrying out special law enforcement operations.
