A Marine assigned to Special Operations Advisor Group (MSOAG) MARSOC takes aim with a M9 9mm pistol.
MARSOC operators sometimes need to blend in with local populations and dress accordingly, carrying only a concealed pistol for personal defence.
As with many other Special Operations units, MARSOC operators are highly trained in the use of handguns.
