SEALs use military working dogs, often German Shepherd or Belgian Malinois, to sniff out explosives, narcotics or even people trying to hide in confined spaces.
They are typically fitted with a kevlar vest that may feature a harness that allows the dog to be attached to their handler for parachute or fast-rope insertion.
