A pair of Navy SEALs peer through the optics of their SCAR-H rifles.

The SCAR-H, designated by SOCOM as the MK-17 Mod O, is a 7.62mm x 51mm weapon that can be configured for different roles.

Modular in nature, with different barrel-length options and the facility for mounting various optics and other accessories, the SCAR-H can be used as a carbine, battle rifle or sniper rifle.

The SCAR-H has been taken up by the SEALs and other SOCOM units.
