SEALs assigned to SEAL Delivery Vehicle Team 1, Naval Special Warfare Group 3, ascend a caving ladder up to a U.S. Army UH-60 Black Hawk helicopter operated by the 25th Combat Aviation Brigade, during a joint training exercise in waters off Hawaii, 2013.
SEAL divers with SEAL Delivery Vehicle Teams operate minisubs in order to carry out clandestine movement beneath the water.
Their training includes various amphibious helicopter insertion and extraction methods such as helo-casting, the use of caving ladders and Special Patrol Insertion and Extraction (SPIE) rigs.
