SEALs have used the P226 since the 1980s, preferring it to the M9 Beretta which is uniqutous throughout the US military.
A modernised version of the P226 was officially designated as the MK25 and adopted as the sEAL's standard sidearm in 2011.
This model features a mil spec accessories rail on the front end, an achor engraved on the stainless steel slide, chrome-lined barrel, corrosive-resistant phosphate-coated interior components and tritium night sights.
