A MH-47 Chinook helicopter, operated by the Night Stalkers of the 160th Special Operations Regiment (160th SOAR), hovers while elite airmen with the 125th Special Tactics Squadron fast-rope down from its belly hatch.
Air Force Special Tactics Teams consist of Combat Controller Teams, Pararescuemen and Special Operations Weather Teams.
Special Tatics operators maintain a core set of special operations skills including helicopter insertion techniques.
