USAF Pararescuemen (PJs) with the 320th Special Tactics Squadron fast-rope from a MH-47 Chinook operated by the 160th Special Operations Aviation Regiment (The Night Stalkers).
Pararescumen are highly trained special operators tasked with the recovery and medical treatment of personnel.
Often deploying integrated into other SOF teams such as Delta Force or Special Forces, PJs are proficient in the same insertion techniques including fast-roping, helo-casting, parachuting and amphibious insertion.
