A component of U.S. Army Special Operations Command (Airborne), the 75th Ranger Regiment is a light infantry unit that carries out special operations such as direct action raids, airfield seizures and personnel / equipment recovery, Rangers are also frequently attached to JSOC special mission units such as Delta Force and SEAL Team 6 (DEVGRU).
