U.S. Special Forces - Close Quarters Training

Green Berets learn CQB drills through courses such as the Special Forces Advanced Urban Combat (SFAUC) program.

They also undergo regular refresher training, as shown here.

It is likely they will go on to employ these skills on compound clearance operations while working alongside Afghani special operations forces.

These special forces operators are armed with MK18 CQBR carbines which are ideal for CQB operations.

They are wearing MICH helmets and ear defenders / comms headsets and a dressed in woodland multicam BDUs.
