The GMV family of vehicles are variants of the HMMWV that have been modified for use by Special Operations Forces.
The GMV-S is the variant in use by Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC).
Special Tactics operator are a mix of Combat Controllers, TACPs, Pararescuemen and Combat Weathermen who carry out a range of operations, often embedded into Army and Navy special mission units.
