A MC-130P Combat Shadow aircraft, flown by the 130th Rescue Squadron of the California Air National Guard 129th Rescue Wing prepares to air drop Pararescuemen during static-line HAHO parachute training.

The MC-130P is a modified C-130 Hercules cargo plane that is used for combat search and rescue, air-to-air refueling and special operations.

The MC-130Ps flown by thr 130th Rescue Squadron are typically used to deliver Pararescuemen of the 131st Rescue Squadron and to refuel the 129th Rescue Squadron's HH-60G Pavehawk helicopters.
