An Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) CV-22 Osprey, from the 8th Special Operations Squadron, prepares to take off for the first freefall parachute jump from and AFSCO Osprey.

The CV-22 Osprey is a tilt-rotor aircraft that is used to insert, extract and resupply special operations forces.
