Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team - Iraq

Marines assigned to the 1st Fleet Anti-Terrorism Security Team (FAST) Company stand guard over oil facilities at Al Basrah Oil Terminal (ABOT), 2004. FAST Marines were called in to provide additional security following an attempted terrorist attack on the terminal.

F.A.S.T. teams are elite Marine Corps security units that deploy to locations around the world in order to protect U.S. Navy bases, ships, embassies and consulates.
