Radio Reconnaissance Team - Static Line Parachutist

RRTs usually deploy as 6-man teams made up of :

  • Team Leader (Staff Seargent or Seargent)
  • Assistant Team Leader (Sergeant or Corporal)
  • Point Man
  • Navigator
  • Radio-Telegraph Operator (RTO)
  • Assistant RTO.

Radio Recon Teams carry out signals intelligence gathering operations in which they deploy ahead of the main force of Marines and monitor enemy radio traffic.
