Force Recon Platoons typically field 6-man reconnaissance teams consisting of a Team Leader, Assistant Team Leader, Radio Operator and 3 Reconnaissance Scouts.
These positions in the team are filled by Force Recon Marines and the occasional Navy Special Amphibious Reconnaissance Corpsman (SARC).
These Marines are wearing Marine Corps Combat Utility Uniform in Woodland MARPAT pattern, with boonie hats and ILBE backpacks.
