Members of Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center Twentynine Palms Provost Marshal’s Office’s Special Reaction Team (SRT) move tactically through a range during close quarters combat (CQB) drills.

Note the MP5 9mm SMG carried by the lead element.

USMC Special Reaction Teams are formed from select Military Policemen assigned to a given installation's Provost Marshal’s Office (PMO).

SRTs are a USMC base's in-house SWAT team, trained and equipped to deal with high risk law enforcement operations and crisis scenarios.

Urban combat / close quaters combat techniques are vital skills for a unit which may be called on to operate in and between the building of their assigned base.
