USMC SWAT Team | M16A4 Rifles

Marines with Provost Marshal's Office, Headquarters & Headquarters Squadron Special Reaction Team (SRT) ready their rifles at a range at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Arizona as part of their monthly training.

Special Reaction Teams are the Corps' in-house SWAT teams.

They deal with scenarios too dangerous or specialized for their regular Military Police colleagues.

These SRT operators are armed with M16A4 5.56mm x 45mm assault rifles fitted with SU-231 holographic sights.

Their secondary weapons are M45a1 CQBP .

45 ACP pistols in Safariland holsters on their hips.

They are wearing tan fire-retardant flight suits, of the sort typically worn by USMC aircrew, Impact Sport ear defenders and Wiley X combat gloves.
