Airmen from the 23rd Special Tactics Squadron (STS) drive a GMV-ST (Ground Mobility Vehicle - Special Tactics) off the ramp of a MC-130P Combat Shadow transport plane. Units under Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) operate 3 variants of the GMV : a training vehicle (GMV-T), one for the 24th STS (JSOC) based at Pope AFB (GMV-SD) and the GMV-ST (Special Tactics) for Hurlburt AFB.
