Special Reaction Teams are elite military police units that are trained to respond to situations at U.S. Army installations that fall outside of the scope of regular military police capabilities.
Such situations include active shooters, barricaded suspects, hostage taking, sniper incidents and high risk arrests of dangerous individuals.
SRT members undergo extensive selection, initial training and refresher training, including full scale exercises.
