Armed with M4A1 carbines, members of United States Marine Corps (USMC) Special Reaction Team (SRT) move in close formation during a training exercise at Marine Corps Air Station Iwakun, Japan, 2012.

USMC Special Reaction Teams are formed from Military Policemen stationed at a given USMC installation.

SRTs are SWAT-style tactical teams tasked with high risk law enforcement operations such as responding to active shooter scenarios, barricaded suspects, hostage rescue and the arrest of dangerous suspects.
