CV-22 Osprey

Official DoD news report on the 1st CV-22 Osprey aircraft to enter service with AFSOC. (Air Force Special Operations Command). The CV-22 Osprey features a unique tilt-rotot design that allows it to transition from rapid forward motion to vertical take off and landing. The aircraft replaces the MH-53 Pavelow series of helicopters in AFSOC's inventory.
