Wearing ghille suits, 2 members of 37th Training Wing's Close Precision Engagement Team (CPET) aim their weapons towards a target building an Emergency Services Team (EST) exercise.

Close Precision Engagement Teams are USAF Security Forces Squadron sharpshooters who protect Air Force installations at home and around the world.

Roles include perimeter defence, counter sniper operations and reconnaissance and surveillance.

The teams work in pairs consisting of a shooter and a spotter.

The shooter may be armed with a M24 or M110 sniper rifle.

The spotter typically carries a M4 carbine and employs a spotting scope.
