4th Recon Marines

The 4th Reconnaissance Battalion (4th Recon) are a reserves element of the 4th Marine Division. Recon Marines operate as intelligence gatherers for the Ground Combat Element commander of their assigned Marine Air Ground Task Force. They are trained in a range of skills such as parachute insertion, combat diving and small boat operations.
