This 2-man sniper team is with a U.S. Army Special Operations Command (USASOC) unit and are taking part in a sniping competition run by D Company, 2nd Battalion, 1st Special Warfare Training Group (Airborne) at Fort Bragg, N.C.
The M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System (SASS) is a 7.62mm x 51mm rifle that is used throughout the various U.S. special operations commands as well as tactical units in the Coast Guard Deployable Operations Group and various military Special Reaction Teams.
