MH-47 Chinook - 160th SOAR

A 160th Special Operations Aviation (160th SOAR) MH-47 Chinook helicopter takes off after inserting special operations forces (SOF) during an exercise.

The 160th SOAR, also known as the Night Stalkers, are an elite U.S. Army unit that flies Little Bird, Black Hawk and Chinook helicopters in support of SOF missions.

The MH-47 Chinook is a heavy-lift helicopter fitted with a weather radar, infrared sensor, in-flight refueling probe and a suite of advanced avionics.
