The M9
is a 9mm semi-automatic pistol and is the standard sidearm for the U.S. Army.
It fires 9mm x 19mm Parabellum rounds from a 15-round detachable box magazine.
Some Special Forces soldiers may carry the M9 but others may use other pistols such the Glock 19.
